ART Climate Finance (India) Private Limited is a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) dedicated to innovative and accessible solutions for catalyzing and supporting enterprises, technologies, and projects that address climate change. We aim to contribute to India’s long-term low-carbon development strategy and its Panchamrit Goals focused on climate action leading to net zero emissions by 2070.

Shailesh has 22+ years’ experience in impact investments (VC/PE, M&A, loans), advisory and business execution. He started his career in financial services working for India’s first commercial microfinance company. He has completed 20+ equity deals and several term loans in impact sectors like financial services, sustainable agriculture, healthcare, renewable energy/clean tech. He was instrumental in the setting up and management of the first direct investment fund of UK Government’s Department for International Development (now FCDO), which invested in several renewable energy and climate tech companies. He worked with BASIX, Aavishkaar Group, DFID (UK Govt.), IPE Global, EY and Glocal Healthcare Systems. He is a Fulbright Leadership Fellow and has a management degree from the Indian Institute of Forest Management and MPA (Finance & Fiscal Policy) from Cornell University.

Vigyan has 25 years of experience in banking, technology and business execution. Large part of his career has been entrepreneurial, setting up and managing several sustainability enterprises, including in renewable energy, climate smart agriculture and clean tech sectors. He is passionate about disruptive technologies that can make the planet a better place. He brings the visionary leadership to guide on strategy development, as well as the practical experience to help in, on the ground implementation. He has worked for Infosys, TCS, Yes Bank, Sahaj Group of Companies, He is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Calcutta and has completed his Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from IIT Jodhpur.

Dr. Vigyan Gadodia

Raakhe Kapoor Tandon is the founder of a financial services holding company, investing in new-age, tech-led, scalable innovative lending businesses (both consumer and wholesale) which can creatively disrupt and deepen the financial services sector in India. She has founded the ART group of companies – NBFCs working in housing, renewable energy, venture capital and MSME finance. Previously, Raakhe has worked with Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch in India and abroad. Apart from holding board positions, Raakhe is part of credit committees and investment committees in several financial services companies. Raakhe’s career mission is to evolve as an independent financial entrepreneur building comprehensive organisations driven by innovation, digital disruption, creativity, finest quality human capital, fullest adherence to regulatory compliance, and with an Owner-Manager-Partner entrepreneurial ethos. Raakhe is active in her alma mater alumni organization and co-founded the Penn Club of Delhi. She is also on the Board of Trustees of The Three Sisters’ Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that works towards educating and empowering the girl child. Raakhe has a BS in Economics and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Raakhe was one of three undergraduate students, selected to matriculate into the MBA program directly from the under-graduate program.

Pratima Sanghavi is seasoned professional with over 25 years of diverse experience spanning government, corporate, and entrepreneurial sectors. She started her career in the central government, serving as Deputy Director of International Relations for six years, after which she transitioned in the corporate sector with multiple roles across human resource and strategy. She has proven expertise in building long-term customer relationships, creating high performing teams, and establishing new business practices from scratch. She facilitates profitable growth in dynamic business landscapes, both B2B and B2C, through strategic team development and innovative human resource leadership. She has been an Independent Director in several companies. Apart from ART Group financial services companies, Lehman Brothers (India) companies and Sahyadri Hospitals are some of the notable names where she has held board positions. She supports leaders and entrepreneurs by translating their visions into actionable initiatives that enhance shareholder value and foster sustainable growth. Pratima has a Master’s in Economics and an MBA in Marketing.
